Preston cultivated a passion for photography growing up in the Southeast, fascinated by decay and numinous, southern landscapes. While living in London, she purchased an olympus om-1 and continues to learn about film. This site features film photography from her travels in recent years. She derives immense joy from capturing a fleeting moment where the light bends just so, particularly in northern Michigan summers where golden hour lingers into the late evening. An inveterate yearner and traveler, she finds that film photography requires deliberate moments of stillness which ground her in the present.
